Ok guys, here it is! It starts now and ends around August 1st. I hope that gives everyone some time to work on it!

There will be three categories:

1. Drawing
2. Coloring
3. Written

1. Drawing category: Theme – Summertime FUN!!

a. Depict any Stray Love character doing what you think they’d enjoy doing during the summertime! Group or single shots are accepted.
b. NO HENTAI or anything of a sexual nature/nudity please. I know there might be a temptation but please… any of that stuff will immediately disqualify you from the contest.
c. Judgement will be based on (in order of what I’m looking for mostly):

- How true to the characters you are, especially if it makes me laugh and/or go… yeah, I’d see them doing that for sure.
- Overall composition. Quality of line art, shading, coloring, and/or any other method is definitely taken into consideration.
- Effort. I want to see artwork that shows some effort behind the idea. No quick doodles here please.

2. Coloring category: Show me what you can do!

a. I have a picture for you to color in! You've seen it before and I figured since there was such an interest to color it.. I'll add it to the contest!! You will find it in my scraps.
b. Judgement will be based on:

- How well you color the characters, keeping true (for the most part) to their actual hair color and likeness.
- Creativity! Feel free to color it any way you feel comfortable with, meaning: markers, pens, computer programs, blood… whatever!
- Effort. I will not accept colored pieces that look like they were done in a matter of minutes. That’s not fair to the others that might actually be putting time into it.

3. Written category: A summer side story!

a. Depict the Stray Love gang in a fun and interesting side story that deals with “what happens to them during the summertime?”
b. No sexually explicit things here please, let’s keep it clean.
c. Let’s not write novels… please keep it between 1 to 10 pages.
d. Judgement will be based on:

- How well the characters are kept in their respective personas.
- Overall feeling of the story, I would love to see something fun but romantic and sweet would work as well.
- Effort, I’m a big supporter of effort! That means mostly composition of the story, is it well thought out and could it actually work in as a part of the Stray Love story.

4. Prizes!!!

Each category will be given it’s own judgement and prizes… so think of it as 3 contests in one!!! WOOOO!!!

First place: Signed Stray Love vol. 1 Book w/poster (or you can opt for Stray Love tee-shirt), 3 month subscription to DA, and a picture drawn by me of your choice. (Colored, at most 2 characters, and background… no hentai requests please.)

Second place: Stray Love vol. 1 Book and a picture drawn by me of your choice. (Colored & 1 character… no hentai requests please.)

Third place: A picture drawn by me of your choice. (Lightly colored, 1 character.. no hentai requests please.)

5. SPECIAL NOTES:

a. Should any of the First Place winners choose to opt for the tee-shirt it might take a bit before I can send out the prize. (Because I’m more than likely going to be making it custom… aka painting the design on the shirt myself. This also means some customizability… meaning, you can pick who you’d like *from Stray Love* on it! Woot!) Please give me at least 3-4 weeks before delivery.

b. Should any of the First Place winners pass on the Stray Love book, the book will then be passed to the second place winner and so on… meaning, 2nd place will get the signed book w/ poster… and 3rd place will get just the book.

c. I will allow only 2 entrees at most in ONE category (even the coloring section.. two different colored versions will be allowed). DO NOT do more than one category. This is meant to be a fair contest and no one will be getting 2 or 3 prizes. But you can enter only 2 entries into the category of your choice.

d. Again, please keep any and all entries clean.
